Membre de la prestigieuse agence Magnum depuis 1988, Eli Reed est bien connu entre autre pour son documentaire Black in America. Il a également fait un travail remarquable dans le camp de réfugiés de kakuma au Kenya (2001) et celui de Benaco en Tanzanie pour les réfugiés rwandais. (1995) Il a aussi fait des photos saisissantes sur les événements du 11 septembre 2001. Amoureux des films et de Hollywood, il a travaillé sur plusieurs films.
Member of the prestigious agency Magnum since 1988, Eli Reed is well-known amongst other things for his documentary Black in America. He also made remarkable work in the refugee camp of kakuma in Kenya (2001) and that of Benaco in Tanzania for the Rwandan refugees.
